Everyone's Wearing: Céline Audrey Sunglasses
Céline have a penchant for creating accessories that absolutely everyone wants, reinventing classic styles with a modern twist, making pieces that are current yet with an element of timelessness, making them excellent investment pieces and staples in any woman's wardrobe - this applies to their much loved 'Luggage' tote which people continue to go crazy for, and it also applies to their amazing 'Audrey' oversized cat-eye sunglasses which are everywhere. Spotted on Olivia Palermo, Kirsten Dunst, Miranda Kerr and many more, the sunglasses were inspired by - you guessed it - Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. In the famous 1961 film, Audrey wears those oh-so recognisable cat-eye frames, a pair which were made by Persol at the time. Now every girl can channel Audrey - take a look at where these glasses have been spotted below.

Completing her look with a black Chanel 2.55, Jacquelyn's look was really attention-grabbing. Her statement jacket is both stylish and functional, and it really makes her look stand out, giving it a fashion-forward edge. Her hair is styled to look quite natural, loosely falling over her shoulders, while her makeup really draws you to her face - some blush highlights her cheekbones and she is also wearing a slick of eyeliner. With her hands stuffed into her pockets, Jacquelyn looks relaxed and cosy in this outfit, while also gaining some serious style points at the same time - simple yet stylish.

Amy Winehouse's Family "Upset" by Gaultier Tribute Show
For his Spring/Summer 2012 Haute Couture collection, Jean Paul Gaultier created a collection which he called a tribute to British singer Amy Winehouse, who recently passed away. The collection featured models wearing designs inspired by Amy, while they each wore her signature beehive hair and cateye eyeliner - some also smoked as they made their way down the catwalk. Amy's father Mitch has explained why he doesn't approve of the tribute - because he believes Gaultier just wants to profit from the death. He says the show is in "bad taste" and comments that it has upset the family, especially coming up to the six month anniversary of the death:
"The family was upset to see those pictures, they were a total shock. We're still grieving for her loss, and we've had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy's death. To see her image lifted wholesale to sell clothes was a wrench we were not expecting or consulted on."
He continues to explain that the show glamorizes some of the hardest parts of Amy's life:
"We're proud of her influence on fashion but find black veils on models, smoking cigarettes with a barbershop quartet singing her music in bad taste. It portrays a view of Amy when she was not at her best, and glamorises some of the more upsetting times in her life. That's upsetting for her family. No one asked us for permission or offered to make a donation to the foundation. This is purely about Gaultier making money, and that's wrong."

Hair Trend: Wet, Slicked Back Locks
Whether it is a 'just out of the shower' or 'fresh from a surf' look, wet hairdos dominated the catwalks during the Spring/Summer 2012 fashion weeks. Seen at Alberta Ferretti, models wore loose wet hair in disheveled waves, paired with natural makeup and thick eyebrows. Alexander Wang's models had hair which looked even more soaked, separated into wet sections that stuck together. At BCBG Max Azria, hair was slicked fully back, while only the top appeared wet. Giambattista Valli added some colour to the look, painting hair bright shades of violet while hair was slicked back out of the face - the ends were kept natural and wavy. Below is a look at where this trend was spotted on the catwalk this season.
Freja Beha Erichsen Covers Dansk, Doesn't Appear at Chanel
Freja Beha Erichsen gets an artistic makeover for the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of Dansk (#27) which was photographed by Christian Brylle. The cover shot sees the Danish model covered in paint as she poses in a minimally designed grey top. Freja hasn't returned as the face of Chanel for the new season, and seems to no longer be tied to the label as she once was - she didn't appear at the most recent Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2012 show, continuing rumors that the label has cut all ties from the model. Freja was replaced by Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw for the new campaign, while she only fronts Hugo by Hugo Boss this time around.

The dress drapes beautifully on the model, highlighting her model figure and her golden glow too. Crystal completed the event look with a dark red lipstick, natural wavy hair and minimal makeup. This outfit is elegant, classic and completely glamorous - this is the kind of event dress that doesn't go out of style, and Crystal is the perfect person to wear it.

Joan has given the sporty bomber style a sexy revamp by adding heels, while the outfit still seems relaxed thanks to the slouchy fit of the vest. Joan completed her look with a black oversized tote bag and pulled her hair back with a matching black band. The printed jacket makes a huge statement, while she has cleverly kept everything else subdued, adapting the design for simple daytime wear.

Dark Elegance: Givenchy Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012
Dark elegance is Riccardo Tisci's speciality, and for Givenchy's Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012 collection, he once again seamlessly melded together elegant 1930's inspired silhouettes with menacing silver bull nose-rings, oversized earrings and armour-like gothic detail. The collection was shown in an 18-century showroom, which Tisci decided to give a basketball inspired makeover, something which worked despite not really fitting, much like the designs. On one hand the pieces felt ready for a red carpet event, and on another, that elegance was juxtaposed with something darker and almost frightening. The 10-piece collection was painstakingly beaded, dyed, tailored and stitched, while the models stood for the informal presentation, allowing those in attendance to give the designs the kind of close-up examination they are worthy of.
